I think it's some kind of safety catch, to limit drivetrain movement in the event of a rear-end crash, stopping the engine crashing through the radiator and into the back of your legs.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

I just got a fat box of rubber $240 CAD later! The package was ordered thru Amayama 01 June and arrived at my door 12 June. I paid for the 14 day shipping and the pack was only sent from Japan on 08 June.

I'm pretty sure that is UNUSUALLY quick and it's kind of a funny introduction to being so apprehensive about 37 day shipping times and all that, but indeed worst case ...

I've ordered a couple times from Amayama shipping to Vancouver and have been very impressed with their shipping speed. Albeit the fact that sometimes they don't have the items on hand even though you can "add them to cart"

They are my go to for smaller parts.

sealica wrote:I was working on a comprehensive list of bushings so I can place an order as I endeavour to improve my van's suspension. Perhaps a few of the parts I'm looking at are really not important - feel free to point that out if you note something!

MB672091 x2 [Front Sway Bar Bushings]
MB598097 x2 [Front Sway Bar Link Kit (bolt, nut, washers, bushings x2)]
Are these part numbers also correct for the upper bushings for the sway bar hanger (I'm sure there's a better name for this, but I don't know it), or just for the end links? Partsouq lists the hanger link kit as MB598327, but I can't for the life of me figure out if they're the same as the end link bushings. They look like they should be, but hard to tell since they're so dead.

Any help is appreciated!

Sealica how has the bushing replacement gone? Also did you (or anyone) ever find a parts number or replacement for the front leaf spring bushing?

I didn't find the # for front leaf spring bushing. The sway bar bushings and leaf bushings are in, but admittedly I'm not convinced the control arm bushings were a smart purchase.

I've been all over the internet and I think I may have found something regarding the elusive front bushing on the leaf spring. See the link below for SuperPro Suspension Parts out of Australia.

https://superpro.com.au/find/superpro-l ... 00822/vid-

If you do a search for this part number on the internet, SPF1323K, you will be shocked at the insane prices (Over $100 CAD EH!!!). I have also come across a Dobinsons part number PB43-1079K with similar insane prices.

There has to be a better option out there for these bushings!!!
Anybody have any better luck out there?

I did come across those as well but I don't know what the dimensions are for the bushings or the spring ends.

More digging has turned up these bushings on Rock Auto

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dod ... shing,7488

To compare, here are a couple of images from a Russian site (spring part number MB631472) and the Rock Auto image.

Sure look similar, but that doesn't mean much... At $17 for the moog part it's certainly worth a shot. And if they fit, then the Prothane bushings would too.
I can't imagine there were that many options/makers for OEM leafs with oval eyes...

Growlerbearnz wrote: Thu Jun 01, 2017 12:50 am Some 4WD Delicas don't have a rear sway bar. I'm guessing you've checked that yours does?

The rest look like a good start. My leaf spring bushes are still surprisingly good, so I haven't bothered replacing them. Same with the steering rack bush. My front diff bushes are a touch saggy, but I figure I only use the front diff off road so I probably wouldn't notice the difference.

My new issue is drivetrain oscillation- something to do with old transmission mounts and slightly more power than Mr. Mitsubishi intended. Hence my next Amayama order will include:

Transmission cross member MB581265 (NZ$292)
RHS trans mount MB581261 (NZ$117)
LHS trans mount MB581258 (NZ$118)

RHS engine mount MB581191 (NZ$132)
LHS engine mount MB581192 (NZ$132)
Hey Growlerbear, did you have any luck ordering MB581265 the cross member mount? Amayama says the part is out of production.

No, I found Nissan Micra/March/Tiida/Cube suspension bushes that fit in the crossmember mounts. It's here in the TRL: http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=18741

Yeah, I've had that experience at parts counters, when they realize the Delica isn't in their computer:

"What make?"
"Mitsubishi"
"What model?"
"Delica L300"
"What year?"
"1994"

Then they kind of freeze up, like a bug that's been crawling around on a window too long. Or they start chuckling absent-mindedly. Without the computer telling them what to do, they have absolutely no idea how to find parts for a car.

Okay, on topic: I thought Lordco actually had a pretty good selection of red suspension bushings. They're better than the bushings that came with my KYB shocks.

OK, so I have looked at my bushings and they be fkd.

From this thread I would need:
Transmision exploded view.JPG
Transmision exploded view.JPG (100.17 KiB) Viewed 8996 times

RHS trans mount MB581261 (NZ$117)
LHS trans mount MB581258 (NZ$118) (blue arrow)

but what are these bushings called (red arrow)

None of these show up in the AMAYAMA parts lists/diagrams...(that I can find...)

EDIT: Would these be MB58114 and MB588113 and are these the same as the engine mount bushings?
