Fuel pump leak

Good day all - after a couple of hours of research I'm asking for thoughts on how to best approach my leaking fuel pump.

It seems once things warmed up here in Winnipeg that's when the leak really showed itself. I would say it's leaking more than a tablespoon of fuel every 8 hours.
I saw that a lot of guys that come across this issue seem to find a fix with replacing just the seals which apparently can be done without removing the pump(?)
Any thoughts of this?

I'll try and attach a better photo tomorrow morning when I have better light.

Most seals can be replaced without removing the pump, but access is tricky. If it's leaking from more than one place it's probably easier to remove the pump and install an entire overhaul kit. The critical (and often overlooked) thing is to check your drive shaft seal- remove the top timing belt cover and make sure you haven't got diesel dribbling from behind the IP sprocket or all over your timing belts.

Hey, I've been trying to track down instructions for replacing the seals?
I want to know how technical it gets once you open it up or if it's a matter of turning bolts.

If you've pulled it apart that far you might as well buy a rebuild kit (http://www.ebay.com/itm/GASKET-KIT-REBU ... Gs&vxp=mtr) and replace the seals yourself. I'm guessing you've seen the Gnarlodious VE pump rebuild how-to? http://gnarlodious.com/vanagon/bosch_pump/-Rebuild
