Fender flares after trimming for 31" tires

Post by macro »

Just wondering if anyone knows if fender flares will fit on the front after the required trimming to fit 31" tires after a lift. A question I realized I should have asked before I bought them... I don't want to fit them and rip them apart with the tires!

One of the guys on the UK forum was able to put Land Rover flares on his L400. Those would probably work after trimming for larger tires

I ran into the same issue when i lifted my van and put on new rims and tires.

Nothing worked until I lucked out and found a van that was being parted.

It had the flares and the door slider extender. Cost me an arm and a leg but it was worth it.

Arrived today, love amazon. Having a quick look in the box, I'm super impressed. Very thick rubber, just need to get my hands on some stainless screws. I'm going to use automotive trim tape as well.

Hey guys, haven't got around to installing them yet. Our summer has been so-so, I want a couple smouldering hot days to leave them in the sun while I instal them to help out.

From trial fitting them, they look like they're going to work great and they were pretty cheap off amazon!
