So what do you think? I think Kathy needs to be in a Deli!

I think so too!

Sadly, Hermione got hit by a drunk driver tonight and was flipped on its side. My baby is totalled and will be written-off by ICBC. I've invested around $35,000 over the 4 years I've owned her. Does anyone know what I can expect them to offer? I'm still in shock, and very upset, but at least I'm ok (some soreness and my knee and shoulder are hurting).

Sorry Mate,

Unless you have bought special insurance to cover the mods, you're going to get book value for it. Your best bet is to buy it back at auction, I can help there. Get yourself a new 300 and move the bits over.

I will remove the mods and probably sell them separately. I'll also bring in my paperwork with everything I've put into it. Unfortunately I will probably not be able to afford another Delica, with the kind of unpredictable upkeep they have at the beginning. I loved mine for the all the hard work I put into it, but I just don't think I could do that all over again.

Oh no that is bad news! It has got to be very depressing to have hours and hours and hours of your hard work destroyed in an instant by some prick. No Delica deserves a write-off, especially when it was someone else's fault.

On the plus side I know of an Long Wheel Base L400 Royal Exceed that has had the annoying fresh off the boat bugs fixed and it is for sale at a bargain price by a motivated seller, now it even comes with a full set of fender flares and a rear wing for the asking price. Wow that seller must be crazy!

And did I mention it is blue...wouldn't that go great with your eyes and make you look the handsome dandy!! Looking that fine, you'll be certain to attract many companions so you'll be happy to know the L400 LWB can carry not 1...not 2...not 4...but a whopping 5 sexy companions and a mattress.

It will also hold tools but once people see you cruising around in an L400 you can kiss a life of manual labour goodbye...modelling, movies, host of the price is right...that's where you will be headed. A life of fame and fortune is only an L400 away.

Take this opportunity to move your life to the next level. :-D

It is extremely depressing to lose something I love at the hands of an idiot.

Can you send me some info about your van? I don't know if my bank account can handle another Delica with it's quirks or the added fuel expense, but I'm extremely tempted.
