I've recently purchased a 1992 Delica Super Exceed. I got rid of my '95 GMC Safari as it can't handle the snow and off roading compared to my new delica.

I also operate a Delica Workshop in Richmond, BC. We specialize in fixing and servicing Delica's, whether mechanical or trouble shooting problems.

Please feel free to call 604 - 247-0500 if you need help.

Thanks again, my fellow delica owners.

Happy New Year to all! :-D

Wow, the only difference is I traded my '95 Safari for a '91 Super Exceed :-) Don't forget the fact that the fuel efficiency is much nicer in a Deli, especially if you added a WVO system.

Hey, that looks exactly like my GMC Van!!! Isn't that funny? Although the safari has served me quite a bit plus the memories with the family in it and absolutely no problems driving it to California a number of times. Kinda sad to part with it but.... hey..this delica is something else... it feels brutally durable.

Adam, whats a WVO system? I'm getting about 500kms on a full tank driving back and forth to Richmond with about 5kms uphill drive everytime. How are you doing with yours?

Welcome!

WVO is a 'waste vegetable oil' system. Adam and others have an extra tank containing WVO, which is a real sweet way to beat the high diesel cost blues. Also I belong in the past GM van owners club;

Sold after we bought our first Delica, sure don't miss those $75 dollar fills.

Cheers,

Sounds like you managed to avoid the worst of the gas spike. I was paying well over $100 per fill every 10 days.

Mitsubc: for a very detailed look at running a Delica on waste veggie oil check out Kevin's post:

How about that??? more Ex GMC van owners.... aren't we glad?! I'll post my GMC soon as I figure how to attach photos on this site... :-)

Thanks for the info. Will seriously think about that WVO in the future. Did you feel any improvement or loss of power after the install?
