Fixing the DELICA tailgate illumination

Post by Mystery Machine »

A massive thanks must go to Profister for this guide on how to fix a blown bulb in the tailgate illumination. Clear, simple, concise....thanks for that, I am sure there will be lots of grateful owners out there who no longer need to drive around with 'DEL' or 'ICA' on the back of their vans! 8-)

I am posting my version of fixing DELICA tail gate light in pictures as promised. All you need to know is that the light assembly is accessible from inside the tail gate and you also need to have some soldering skills. The pictures will tell you the rest. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me.

The replacement bulb and the sealant bought from Canadian Tire.
