I don't know how long the sale is/was in effect and didn't check CT but I bought 1 can for $8.99 instead of usual $12.32. That was July 18.nxski wrote:I've moved this thread from L400 technical to General Discussion as I find it useful for L300 owners as well as L400's.
PS. Do you have any idea how long the sale at Lordco is on for and if it's at all locations?
Overall my Dellie's running well. The one thing is that at idle at a traffic light or where ever, the engine will sometimes hiccup or miss. It just does it momentarily & then returns to smooth idle. It just does this once in a while out of the blue when engine is at normal temp. I'm wondering if maybe there's a bit of water in the fuel system or something.
Here's why I wonder about water: a couple of weeks ago it stalled (while still cold) in my garage. It was all I could do just to keep it turning over; as though firing on one cylinder. So I sat with it and gradually raised the RPM as I was able to and an ungawdly heap of blue smoke billowed out for about two minutes and then suddenly it smoothed out completely.
Since then it's been running better than it has in ages and the little hiccup thing has become less frequent. So, I really haven't a clue what it is and silly me, I forgot to even mention it when I took it in to CVI for a tune a while ago. I just assumed the tune would sort it out.
As I mentioned, it's improved since the smoke event but now I'm curious as to whether Seafoam might fix it up altogether. Probably can't hurt to try.
