Help Needed !! Mechanics in Manitoba
I know there are a bunch of L400 owners in Manitoba....am in desperate need of a mechanic who knows the L400 and is willing to work on one, van lost power new years eve 2020.....any help re current shops or mechanics in Manitoba would be most appreciated.

Hiya! that sounds terrible. I usually do all my own work on my L400. What happened? Maybe I can help diagnose which would help when going to a shop.

Sorry for the late reply. Have you had any luck? If it's a diesel problem, I would recommend Western Turbo. They have one technician there that does all the rhd work and he knows his stuff.

Thanks for the feedback....re Mechs in Winnipeg....initial prob turned out to be faulty plug on block heater [will never start in this climate without being plugged in....second problem required replacing both 3 year old batteries] then a fuel line break had to be replaced and she was running great...went to Winnipeg to shop only to have the starter go, had it towed to Peg City Auto [recommended by Rising Sun ...thanks Steven] where Danny ordered a new starter installed it, changed all the filters and fluids and got her ready to go again. On the way to the city to pick her up today. Thanks for the responses to my post folks. good to know this board is still supported ! {only 55 days left to spring thankfully....safe motoring to all}
