ICBC claim in Vancouver - where do you go?

Post by April_ethereal »

Hi all, I'm stuck in Vancouver Delica-less because of someone else's mistake.

According to ICBC I need to find a body shop to have the damage assessed / repaired. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to move forward and in the right direction with this? Or who to contact? Thanks.

That's where I had work done on my L400. Great guy, very good work. They can also do the estimate for ICBC on site.

Good luck

I brought mine to Vickery Collision in North Vancouver. Smashed front right corner, lights, bumper, door frame/pillar. They let me know that due to the extent of the damage, I had to bring it in to the main ICBC estimating place at Cambie and 4th or so, right beside the Police station. ICBC took a look and deemed the vans value higher than the cost of welding in a new A-Pillar! The mechanics had a hell of a time getting all of the parts removed though!
