Has anyone had any luck with the drive through car washes and an L300?
In the Seattle area I just get laughed at when I ask if I can run it through. Something about the mirror brackets scares them!

Re: L300 and Car Washes
I would NEVER consider running my wagon through a car wash unless it was a "touch-less" car wash or a manual wash booth. I wash my own. Those rolling brush wheels are very likely going to damage the mirrors, fore and aft. It would put extensive stress on the position locks. Besides, those brushes would never get in behind the Bambi Bars or around any of the wagons superstructures.
Best to do it by hand in my opinion.

Re: L300 and Car Washes
I took mine through a car wash once, and they're right: the sensors don't see the mirror brackets and the windscreen roller brush ends up grinding along them. It's very unpleasant.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
