Replacing headlight.

Hello. I'm in the midst of changing my front headlight. I have the plastic trim off, that houses the side light, and I have all of the screws out so that the light assembly is "free".
I need to disconnect the lighting harness to take the light completely out so to change the bulb. But I can't undue the harness. Any help? Is there some trick that I do not know? Can I replace the bulb while keeping the housing attached to the harness?

Have you taken the three 10mm bolts out? There are two on the side and one accessed from the front. This should let you pull the whole headlight assy out (you can let it rest on the bushbar) and either undo the wiring harness to take it out completely, or undo the circular beigey grey headlight access by twisting and pulling out.

Should easily be able to swap the bulbs without undoing the harness

I couldn't get the wiring harness apart. And I dropped one of the 10mm bolts into the abyss. But all is well. I remembered undoing it last time, so I got a bit stuck this time when the harness wouldn't come free. But like you said, it's easy enough to reach the bulb with the harness still connected.

The harness connects to the back of the headlamp with a triangular 3-pin plug. Depending on how tight the harness is, It can be difficult to see, and you might have to feel around to find it. Once you know where the release catch is, it's easy to feel for it and disconnect the headlamp- but if it's not been taken off for a while it might take a bit of wiggling.

There's a handy trick for reassembling the plastic trim- while the headlamp is out, remove the two plastic lugs that the trim screws into (by compressing the retaining clips), and screw them to the plastic trim *before* assembly. That way the plastic trim just snaps into place without having to fiddle around with those long screws.
