Re: what did you do with your delica today
[quote="psilosin"]Yeah I did read the first line but most responses ended up being the same as what the existing thread contains hence merge...or move those responses into the other thread so they stay distinct. Not too complicated and no reason for you to be a drama queen because people made off topic posting from what you envisioned by changing 'to' to 'with'. Also I am sorry to hear that your brain failed.
Wow what a response
The brain failed comment was not towards you but the human brain in general, at how it will fill in sentences and phrases that are commonly read or seen. After posting I realized I should have CAPS and bolded the ''with'' in the title. Next time i will try to be more clear.

Re: what did you do with your delica today
Guess I misinterpretted being told to read the first line + human brain fail comment. Seemed pretty directed toward me after suggesting merging this thread with the other (since it is essentially the same thing and we have many many pages to fill to catch up to minitruck!). No harm no foul.
FYI first line of the original sticky thread:
"*Post up what you did to/in/with your Delica today from mods to oil change to driving to teh beach to hauling wood. Stealing this thread idea from Minitrucktalk.com as it is an entertaining thread that just keeps going and going and going..."

I see what your saying
It's funny how just reading a post we put our own thoughts/additudes into the comments. No harm no foul.

So... would you two like to see them merged or just highlight the WITH and TO in the respective thread titles?

Drove it yesterday and the days prior to the day before groundhog day. Will probably do the same WITH it tomorrow as well. If everyone answered, this would be the most populated topic for sure

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
WITH my Deli today (so far): loaded almost 1000lbs busted concrete into moving blanket/plywood/tarp-lined van and drove it to eco land reclamation project here in Toronto. On the way home the van and I stopped at a car wash, then stopped for groceries, and here I am.
Have had our Deli for 9 months and still haven't settled on a name. Maybe need to go for a drive and christen her once and for all....
Cheers,
dlibbey

Yesterday I loaded the trials bike in her and went for a great but super wet and slippy ride. I love the tailgate for getting ready its a great canopy to stand under in the rain.

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
This is what I did today with my Delica. http://youtu.be/RQMjw6J_WYQ
Not the best video/editing or the most extreme 4X4'ing but fun to get out around my house for a quick spin. Mt. Prevost is about 6 minutes away. A good place to practice/create some skills.
Funny how video can make things look a lot easier than they are.

Cheers,

Excellent!
My L300 is my GoTo vehicle for fishing.. ice and non..
Where around Calgary did you go fishing?
Just so others know.. ice fishing is a little different in AB/SK compared to Kamloops
When we are driving on ice there is a lot of it.. at least 3 ft at the moment where I am.
Of course you have to watch out for springs and if near a river, or such, current.
Kamloops is much milder and thinner for ice. But yes, you do have to be smart and
check.
Im posting a couple recent ones including my 25lb pike from 2 weekends ago.
I use an eskimo 3 man tent and have a wooden floor that the shack attaches to
using wingnuts instead of putting down ice screws. If there is little snow on the
ice I can pull it around with the van.

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
Thanks DC, ya as Firesong said lots of ice out here but especially since I have the family with me, I always do my due diligence.
Firesong, AWESOME pike man! Most recently, I was fishing up at Pigeon lake but I've been out to Spray Lakes in K country a couple of times this winter and had a bit of luck. There are a couple of southern lakes that have some big pike as well that I plan on hitting up next winter. Most of my fishing is in the summer though on the Bow and some of the eastern slopes streams with the flyrod.
Cheers!
