I installed new firestone air bags, finished off my 2"body lift and ball joint spacer lift and had the wheel alignment done at Dales in Langley.

My new 16" BFG TA's fit nicely on the offset 16"toyota rims. The flares should be on by this week end.

I'll post the 15" rims, tires and vanity caps on Delica Trader soon. Should sell quickly, they look good.

The body lift was a struggle but now my front suspension sits same as a stock delica just 2"higher. No more problems with camber, caster and tire wear. :-D :-D

It's ready for my next trip to the Charlottes in Feb.

Love my L400 gasser

Just replaced the batteries @ 850 amperes above zero and 700 amperes below zero, each. Awesome. Paid $200, all in at Edmonds Batteries in Burnaby.

Good question. I was presuming Centigrade but they are made in the US of A so it could possible refer to Fahrenheit. Then again, considering that -40 is the same in both, that being FREAKING COLD... probably doesn't matter outside the drawing room. :D

Awesome!

I changed my oil and did something new this time... I dropped the old filter into the used oil. Just slipped out of my hands. You know, I warmed up the engine before I emptied the oil, the oil was at skin temperature so I didn't feel anything but there was oil on my glasses. Bizarre. Looked into a mirror, looked like a dog with the splashes of black oil on my face. Image

Rotated MLB's tyres (every second oil change) and greased six of her nipples (front axle). I'll get to the other four tomorrow.

Started planning a Ralliart-themed replacement for the ugly graphics on the side of my Delica. Yes, I went and bought a vinyl cutter. Still working on the design, but the mockup below is where I'm up to:

In the pictures above, I used Photoshop ;-)

I'd usually use a heat gun to soften the old vinyl, a plastic scraper for the bits that refuse to move, and thinners to get the sticky residue off. But you're right- graphics which have been on a car for years can be well stuck. I might try and remove mine today before I get too involved in buying new vinyl and cutting it out...
