Cut together the footage from our 2016 trip. Vancouver - Oregon coast via Black Rock, Cali Coast through Big Sur to Frisco, into California City and off to the middle of the Mohave Desert for Wasteland Weekend (a post apocalyptic fully immersive festival... yes we're nerds...). From there we headed down to Santa Monica to buy a dress for Susan.. there's a tiny little boutique that we stumbled upon a few years back during a cruise which actually sells dress' that fit her, so she was quite adamant we try find it again. Next we headed back north through Owens Valley and into the Sierra Navadas... We ended camping at what we though was a lake at mid night... turns out it was a water reservoir.. but hell we got some nice pics out of it. Next onto Mammoth Mountain for some mountain biking... of course we found out the park had closed the day prior so we bought a couple T-Shirts and hiked to the Devils Post Pile and a very peculiar volcanic national monument. Pushing forward we entered Yosemite National Park via Tiago Pass, at 10 000ft above sea level Delilah was rolling coal pretty heavily under throttle. We spent a few days here milling about and checking out the sights. I have a love for trains so the Sugar Pine RR was a must for me. Leaving Yosemite found us winding through east Cali and into in to a small town Called Downieville. We were treated to a 3 hours worth of a decent on our mountain bikes here, and then some small town pizza by the river. We were recommended to check out Ashland next for some more good trails.. so that's what we did. Another day of riding later found us heading into Grants Pass and Crater Lake area. Up until this point Delilah had run almost flawlessly save for some starter issues in the idle of the desert. Of course right as the rain rolls in we suffer a massive blow out of the left rear tire... on a Sunday... in the middle of nowhere. Our spare tire is not the best so we spend the rear of sunday trying to track down a new set of LT rated all terrains. This was not an easy task, in fact we gave up after the 8th tire store had nothing. So leaving our friends behind we made the marathon run back on a spare tire. All in all the trip was amazing, this year we will be heading back to Wasteland but then into Death Valley and the surrounding areas where we hope to do about 1200km without touching the pavement.

Anyways it's a bit long but hope you enjoy.

Did the tire do any damage to your van? I just blew a rear tire on my truck and it beat the entire side of my box!

Cracked my flare.. had to do a bit of fiberglass repair. I was surprised it didn't shred the side of the van up.

Oh and just as a neat little note.. the whole thing was shot with my cell phone zip tied to a selfie stick... few times I thought I was gonna be buying a new phone.
