looking for local shop

Heyo,

Anyone have any shop advice around Calgary? I was going to have it taken directly to Rising Sun in lower mainland from the port, but I read their google reviews....and it rattled me about having it there without ever meeting them in person. I get the bad reviews, but the shop's response were what worried me. Kinda wish I had still though, as I really didn't want to work on this myself, really just wanted to start on a fresh footing. But, alas here I am. I believe I have the blinking front wheels solenoid to diagnose. But, there is a clunking from the front left, likely ball joints.

Anyhow, anyone in Alberta, specifically around Calgary, that has a shop or mechanic suggestion?

Yeah, the forums have kinda died off and Facebook has replaced them. There's still a ton of info here, but you have to dig for it. I wish more people would use the forums, but you can't change society.

Unfortunately I'm on the west coast and am unable to help you out with Calgary shops. :-(

I've been using Pro-Active auto for mine. They know what they're doing and have been upfront and honest about everything. Ive brought my own parts their and had them do the work and it saved a bit of $$. I know that there's a guy in the Southwest by Heritage, but haven't tried them yet. North hill Auto also serviced mine, but their parts are super expensive.

If you find anything else, please let me know.

Yah, I called them up, and they scared me off with listing of time / parts required. I just did all the work myself.
