Hi all, is it safe to put LT 235 75 15 104/101s on stock L400 delica space gear rims? I brought a set of general grabber at2's to Costco but the service manager refused installation due to it being a light truck tire, and wrong load rating

That is the exact tire the guys at coombs Country Auto put on my 95 L400 when I bought it from them. I am very happy with the tires. No issues.
These guys know what they are doing.

I have a set of BF Goodrich All-terrain T/A KO2 235/75R15 on my 1995 L400 with the stock delica rims and they are great on there (no lift on the van either). You shouldn't run into any problems at all

I think those tires are on 50% of the upgrades guys are doing. They are decently price and look aggressive.
Much like the BF a/t or m/t
Did you tell them, it’s not for soccer practice but rather for performance and traction!!

I tried to have my tires put on at a Costco here and they wouldn't do it. It was a bit of a run around. They needed the exact torque specs from Mitsubishi to start with and then when we got them they wouldn't put then in because I was also using a light truck tire.

Funny thing was, before I took it in I was in discussions with one of their other supervisors about getting a set of BFG KO2s for it, which are also LT's

Had a set of Firestone tires Destination AT in 235/75R15 size also and had no problems. A local tire shop installed them for me.
