Anyone ever re-gas their tailgate struts?
Is there a place that does it here in Vancouver? Or should I just get new ones?

Thanks! When are you getting it done? Let us all know how it goes.

So I took my tailgate struts to Strutwise in Surrey today...it's an older man, Frank, that works out of his house and refurbishes struts from Ferrari's to Delica's. He charges $75/strut for Delicas and says takes about a week so we'll see how it goes.

Hey Bitnaut sorry for my delay in responding. I haven't taken the shocks to strutwise as of yet. Been too busy with the dual piston brake upgrade, ball joints, bearings, seals etc.
Hope it goes well for you.

Well I can safely say that Frank at Strut-wise does a great job. The rear tailgate struts that he refurbished for me work just like new and are strong enough to hold up the tailgate and ladder no problem. Awesome!

Good to know thanks! I'm getting tired of holding up my tailgate with my back.
