Hi Barret,

Not sure which one is the rc plug hole. The most accessible frost plug I can see is on the drivers side of the engine above the alternator, clearly visible when laying under the van. Is this the rc plug hole?

Polar pad also sounds like a good alternative, a bit more pricey at $125 Canadian Tire / $99 Amazon for the 250w model.

That's the one. I popped in the 600w 25$ heater, and it is great! -30 no sluggishness. I'd say it is all you needed unless you are going lower than -50 regularly. Then maybe a pad heater or a second block.
