Radio CD player

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Hi all,
Just discovered that I have a CD player and DVD player under the passenger seat but can not get it to work.
Any idea?

Same problem here, I am (slowly) working on mine.
I didn't have a CD tray in mine, had to find one and order it from Yahoo in Japan (their eBay).
You can find cheap units there from recyclers, some people replace the radio/cd/cassette unit with a newer aftermarket one and throw out the old CD changer.

I just want to make my old one work.
My unit just doesn't respond though; I am about to test whether it actually gets power from the radio.

There is a plug in the back of the radio and one in the back of the CD player (13-pin circular).
I don't remember seeing detailed info on the cabling in the Delica shop repair manuals though, I'll have to look.

Sometimes I feel like I'm restoring an old vehicle for a museum (cassette deck, CD player... my kids have never used either of those).

Based on what I saw at http://yahoo.co.jp I suspect that for different years the Panasonic model of the CD Changer may have differed.

I just ordered a new 13-pin male connector for my van, I noticed two pins in the old one were much shorter than the other 11.
