Does anyone know what this is?

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

On my L400 that rocker switch turns on the windshield wiper ice melter. Not all L400 have that.

I wonder how you can tell if it's equipped?

You'd think if they installed the switch it would work, but I've had that whole area apart to clean the washer lines, and I didn't notice anything special that would indicate the presence of a heated wiper...

If you have the little bars under your wipers just hit the switch and feel it. Mine worked awesome until I took a rock just below it and it cracked through it. F-ing truck drivers.

Is it an imposition to ask what the middle rocker switch in the top row of three is for? The one with the wiper/water sign on it.
I would guess it is the heater filament on/off switch if you have the optional heated windscreen (to keep your wiper blades from freezing to the bottom of the windshield)

Never seen a pull type control in that position on a stock Mitsubishi 4x4.

All part of the mystery of getting a JDM!
Close big bird, it took me some time but I found the use of the pull knob. In the out position it closes a damper on the air intake for the cab under the hood, worked great for the 40 below days in Sask Toasty warm.

Great thread title, so I'm jumping in...

I guess this is a sensor of some sort. It's near the front of the engine under the intercooler. I noticed that the connection for the wires is not properly connected to the centre post. I'm thinking of cleaning it up and spot welding the loose bits together.
If I knew what it was, I might just replace it. It would be great if its the reason the AC quit working...
