"Auto" option - headlights.

Does the option triggers a sensor so the head lights shut off at a day time?

There should be a little square sensor on top of your dash, in the right corner in front of the driver. It may be covered with something in your case or perhaps not working?

As long as your light switch is set to "Auto" it should adjust your lights based on how much light the sensor sees.
