I know this is from awhile ago, but I can't be the ONLY one with a Delica in the GTA region??

I'm not in the GTA, but maybe we can try and set up a real SW Ontario meet this summer.

It would be nice to get something going, if the fellas out in the Maritimes can do it.....

Yes :-D

Since every where in Ontario takes so long to get to I'd be much more inclined to go if we did a drive/camp weekend. It would be nice to drive somewhere and camp one night rather than just turning around coming home and it being a really long day.

I'm down for this, I have no major plans for the summer so pretty well any date should work for me. How far away from Niagara are we talking here? I would only be able to go on a weekend, but if we want to go a little farther west or up north I'd be game for camping.

I'm not familiar enough with the area yet to decide on a nice central place for everyone, or even to suggest somewhere decent. I know Mike Bryant (author of a couple posts in the section) lives up in the Muskokas, but that's pretty far from London and the south. I know there's a few Deli owners up there actually, chime in if you're reading this! What about the Collingwood area? There must be some fun trails and camping around here somewhere.... Suggestions? I'd even be up for a quick trip down closer to London and/or Niagara just have a closer look at some other rides!! 8-) :M :M

I've been doing a little research on this:

Niagara has its share of mud roads. Almost exclusively straight and flat with some deep mud pits. If someone wanted to come join up/act as a rescue vehicle, we could go do some scouting.

GTA doesn't have too much in terms of trails, etc. It's probably not to hard to find trails in Grey/Bruce, but scouting would be difficult for me at least.

Beyond that, you're up to Ardbeg, a.k.a the only "real" trail in the province.

Alternatively, we could cross the border and hit up Whispering Pines Hideaway, which is 2 hrs over the border. We could have an 8 am meet up in Niagara Falls, a day of wheeling, and home to Toronto for 7 or 8 pm.

Yep, I'm up for that. April is stacked for me, but come early May I'd love to set something up.

I would be into a cruise but i would be a pajero owner rather than a Delica guy.

I know of a few spots we could consider a little east of Toronto. Ganaraska for instance is a ATV/4x4 friendly park with lots of sandy sections to consider.

The oak-ridges have lots of windy roads north of the city as well if we wanted to keep it more central in location.

Some time late September works best for my scheduling.

Bonsai: I believe I met you with a Pajero in London at Flying J a while ago no?

Hello Everyone,
This seems to be a little bit of a dead thread, but if anyone is still interested, we should set up a meet somewhere before the weather turns unfriendly. I've put some mudders on the ol' Paj that are still looking too clean. Being that none of my friends are into wheeling, it would be nice to hit some trails with some fello Pajs and Delis. Even just a cruise.
Just a thought.

YES. I'm not the best one to organize anything, but I'm even down to sit at Tim's and stare at people staring at our trucks!

Well said, I'm down for that at the very least.
I as well, am not the best organizer. But everyone who is interested let me know, and I will try to coordinate something.

Depending on when and where, I'd still like to meet up before the weather turns.

This will be my first time hitting any sort of trail. If anyone can recommend somewhere they are familiar with, that would be helpful. We don't want to be going in blind. If not everyone post there locations and we will find somewhere central to everyone and just do a little meet and cruise.
