hi,
i dont sell cars that has a big frontal accident. any R you see is not all accident: for your info.
in japan they write it off if big accident. big accident is grade 1 or 1.5, japan is rich country & very conservative they dont fix write off cars not like in canada.
you have to know the grading system in japan.
i have nothing to say for now:
you can say anything you can say but there is a limit to what you have to say hope you understand this:
i let my partner in japan do check the auction sheet as you know.i rely on them. but the main point is that when i recieved the car here, then thats the time i can see the real condition of the car. even its grade 4 or grade 3.
no matter if good or bad grading system in the auction sheet you got, its up to me here to see if the car is good when it arrived. i test , check & inspect the car. thats how i do the grading system.
you have to see the main chassis undercarriage of the car if this is straight or not:
i have a L400 that has Grade 3.5 & C, its a good grade, but when it arrived i see big corrosion rust in the chassis:
i did not sell it for safety issue , i just used it for parts,a big loss to me.
now you see on the grading system in japan is just partial grading point. the final will be on me if it meets the requirement for safety used in the road, thats for me is the main point we are talking here;
anybody in japan replace fender bumper with slight damage , front bumper or hood, they call it R, but does not mean no good & safe to drive. as long as it did not damage the main frame;
my goal is No.1 safety issue to me;
hope this clear this topic; we have to move on pls:

Cheers;
Mardy

Mardy, I would say that's fair enough and good job coming here and explaining your side of the story.

Realitycheck, your probably pointing your finger at the wrong guy there. I think Mardy seems genuine and his rep on the board here would concur with that. Good luck to both of you anyhow. I'm sure nobody wants to come here and read bickering back and forth between dealers. Doesn't look good for anyone.

In reality-check2's case, it appears to take only 7 posts!
I hope the forum can move on.
