The pics will be up tonight, it was a long and greulling weekend. Drove down to Erie PA and had issues at the border allowing my RHD into NY and then back home. :shock:

I did not get back until late last night, and yes by not putting the info up as of yet I may be no better than the the BEEF thread I started on this site. :-(

You are possibly right about the pulling of the wrenches too soon, if it isn't broke don't touch it, but it was broke so I did touch it. :o

I don't have a beef with you, everyone has an opinion, so it's all good. 8-)

I will post pics of both the factory seals and the new seals and try to pinpoint the differences, I am a little electronically challenged so give me until later tonight to get the pics and info posted up here. :?

Lower balancer shaft seal is 6.76 each
Upper balancer shaft seal is 7.74 each
Camshaft seal is 10.76 each
Front seal was about 10 bucks I think.
My camera messed up and I do not have pics of the front main seal and cant find my receipt for those 2 since it was back ordered by a day. They were not required for my fix but I have them just in case.

The differences are;

Different material,
Stronger metal retaining spring,
A third lip for oil retention,
Outer coating of seal case more pliable (aids in the seal staying in place)
Locally produced.
