The pics will be up tonight, it was a long and greulling weekend. Drove down to Erie PA and had issues at the border allowing my RHD into NY and then back home.
I did not get back until late last night, and yes by not putting the info up as of yet I may be no better than the the BEEF thread I started on this site.
You are possibly right about the pulling of the wrenches too soon, if it isn't broke don't touch it, but it was broke so I did touch it.
I don't have a beef with you, everyone has an opinion, so it's all good.
I will post pics of both the factory seals and the new seals and try to pinpoint the differences, I am a little electronically challenged so give me until later tonight to get the pics and info posted up here.

Re: Beef with Rising Sun and Assiniboine
Lower balancer shaft seal is 6.76 each
Upper balancer shaft seal is 7.74 each
Camshaft seal is 10.76 each
Front seal was about 10 bucks I think.
My camera messed up and I do not have pics of the front main seal and cant find my receipt for those 2 since it was back ordered by a day. They were not required for my fix but I have them just in case.

Re: Beef with Rising Sun and Assiniboine
The differences are;
Different material,
Stronger metal retaining spring,
A third lip for oil retention,
Outer coating of seal case more pliable (aids in the seal staying in place)
Locally produced.
