Hi everybody,
This is my first post.
I recently purchased a non-running 91 LWB Pajero 2.5T.
I pulled the valve cover off and discovered the camshaft was broken in three pieces, as well as the rocker shaft snapped.
I pulled the head off, and luckily no valves were bent in the damage. I've sourced a new head, and plan on assembling it back together with as many of the original parts as I can. I will re-face the original valves and put them back on with the springs. And I plan on using the original rocker arms, but I do need a new rocker shaft, as well as a cam shaft.
Let me know if you have parts, or know where to source them.
Thanks for your time!
Josh

Need new cam shaft and rocker shaft
Hi Josh,
Just keep an eye on the rocker arms, they're supposed to be sacrificial and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them fail in the near future.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
