Thanks in advance,

Re: Drivers side (RH) Window motor or entire regulator
Have you tested the motor for continuity? Is there a short to ground or is it burned out?
My window wouldn't move so I powered the connector with other wire grounded. Surprise it travelled to the bottom and with the 12V and grounds reversed travelled to the top. Seems the problem is with the chip board.. Everthing I read on the various sites suggested the motor and gearing.
I'm troubleshooting one of the relays on the driver side and P/S board now. Not easy.
The motor/reg is about $250 I read.
Just thought I'd ask??

Re: Drivers side (RH) Window motor or entire regulator
Hi,
Originally I replaced the brushes from a princess auto bargain bin motor. Easy job, done it many times in the past with other vehicles. This one however, after coming back to life, would catch and grind once it hit a specific point. I opened up the "unopenable" motor gearbox to find that the nylon ring gear which meshes with the worm gear has a couple of teeth broken and floating around inside. Even once removed and resealed it catches funny on those gaps and grinds away.
