Hey guys my L300 has a little quirk. So if I'm out driving for a bit (getting the engine adequately hot) Then I place the van in park the idle will suddenly creep up to 1200RPM or so and stay there. It will not do this if my headlights are on. Any ideas why it will creep up in park? Its making my turbo wind down increasingly difficult. Any thoughts on this?
PS it will idle at around 750-800 once first started and when I'm stopped at a light.
If I wasn't clear enough I have a video I can post. Thanks all!

High idle in park.
When it's doing this, open the engine cover and check that the throttle lever is resting on the idle speed screw like it should be. As Steven says, it might be your AC idle-up solenoid holding the lever back (or binding in the accelerator cable, or the kickdown cable, or... or... or... lots of things.)
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
