Hello folks,
I'm currently in the process of replacing the kick down cable on my '93 L300. Well more specifically, I have a friend who's just about in the process of replacing the kick down cable for me. I've been collecting as many posts and pictures related to this topic from here and printing them off for him. I found a great post with photos from growlerbearnz on removing the transmission pan to change the tranny fluid. We're going to change the filter screen & gasket while we are in there, and I have the part numbers for those, but I couldn't find anything on the actual transmission pan gasket itself.
Is it possible I don't need to replace the tranny pan gasket?
I just want to make sure I have everything lined up before he starts the job.
Thanks in advance:)
Phil

But I think you could get away with sealer instead... might even be preferable.
