New Front Windshield Gasket, Where To Buy

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

New Front Windshield Gasket, Where To Buy

Post by philmeup1 »

Hello folks,

I've been working on my '93 L300 Super Exeed over the last few days trying to stay ahead of the maintenance often required on older vehicles. I have the wet floor syndrome and decided to tackle that job next. I'm going to remove the front corner panels and reseal the seam in behind these panels. And since I have a few pits in my windshield, I've decided to remove and replace it at the same time. This presumably will make removing the corner panels much easier from what I've read on here.

I live in Ontario and have sourced a windshield. But I'm having difficulty sourcing the rubber gasket that will also need replacing.

Anyone have any leads as to where I might purchase one?

Thanks in advance:)

The part number you need is MB416390, and it's available from Amayama.com for CAD$140, if you have time to wait for shipping.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Ahh, thanks growlerbearnz. I ordered a combination switch from them. Very expensive but still much cheaper than anywhere else. I was hoping to find something here in Ontario, or somewhere in Canada at least.

I guess I'd better get on ordering this sooner than later. Winter is definitely on its way:(

Anyway, thanks for the help:)

Cheers, Phil
