L300 ladder & roof rack questions

Post by Delicatessan »

L300 high roof.

1) does Terzo still make new ladders or the l300 high roof, or are they out of the ladder business? I’ve looked, and can’t find them selling them new. So I assume we’re down to a used market only.

2) do the Terzo high roofs that fit the l400s also fit the l300’s? Or is it a different design?

3) I’ve seen the FTS ladders. Any other ladder makers out there for the L300 high roofs? I’ve emailed this guy 4 times, but he never responds: http://www.tigweld4u.com/delica-ladder.htm

4) I need a roof rack or roof bar solution for my high roof. But I just BARELY have clearance into my garage, so I need the lowest profile solution I can get. Something that just barely clears the roof, but is sturdy, would be ideal. Let me know if you have any leads there, please.

Thanks.

Cheers!

Not a Delica owner now, and don't know what's up with Terzo international but I saw newer looking products of theirs in Thailand and Singapore last year.

I occasionally still purchase vehicles from the Japanese auctions, and in my dealings an agent in Japan can find you specifically what you're looking for, from there large car lots and ship it for you. All in you'll pay about the same as a nicely made custom rear ladder but with out the brand name.

Other option; buy a L300 high roof from Japan, take it's Terzo ladder and sell the Delica for a small profit....that's the route I went years ago. Good chance you'll score some other Delica goodies from the resell Deli.

Hey! Are you able to provide some specifics on buying parts direct from Japan and shipping it?

I've posted more details years ago on here, but simply contact an exporter, I use providecars, and a local broker such as Courtenay agencies. Each will provide you with everything you need to get a vehicle here to BC.
