Running Sluggish

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

I really didn't want excess loctite making its way down the shaft and into the bearing...
 Yeah no thanks on that bearing gunked up.
I would adjust the wastegate and drive it around for a bit, confirm the 12psi over a couple of days, before adjusting the diaphragm. That way if anything goes weird you know what's caused it :-)
Alright I'll do that and give my legs a rest from the bike commute :-D

So the wastegate is adjusted and it wont get above 12. I adjusted the diaphragm and It runs pretty well. I can cruise up passes for the most part no problem. It still seems weird that the van has plenty of *pep* off the line but when it gets to 4th it bogs down noticeably, maybe I'll hone it a little more.
I am also running into the problem of my temp gauge shooting up to near the top if I'm heading up a pass. I saw on another post that replacing the fan clutch helps alleviate that even if it seems to be in good condition (mine was replaced with the cooling system) so I guess I'll go that route.

I forget: Have you removed and blanked off the overboost pressure relief valve? (Post near the end of this page:http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.ph ... e&start=30)
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

No I still have it. If I remember right it goes off on mine around 14-15psi. I was going to keep it on there until I install that intercooler.

Any update on this situation? I'm having a power loss that feels somewhat similar, so curious to see how you've got on.

I haven't pinpointed it yet. It just seems really weird. The van drives along fine and seems like it's got some get up and go, shifts from gear to gear with good acceleration. and then it gets to 4th and really bogs down. I'm fiddling with the boost diaphragm so we'll see if that can alleviate it. I'll also take a look at the kickdown cable to see if it's still correct from when I adjusted it.
It seems weird that its just 4th. I haven't looked at the gear ratios so maybe it's a highway mpg gear?
