Front end shocks bottoming out!?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Front end shocks bottoming out!?

I saw your thread on that upgrade and I’d love to get those but definitely no H100 in the wreckers in the US.

Will have to do some research as it seems like a very beneficial upgrade.

Front end shocks bottoming out!?

I'm looking to replace my L300s shocks with some Ranchos, too. I was just wondering if there was any conclusion on whether the shocks you ordered were not fitting right.

I thought perhaps first-generation Montero / Raider shocks might be the same, but looking at the stock numbers you posted (8.5" compressed for the fronts, 10.9" for the rear), all of Rancho's stuff seems too tall (at least for a first-gen Montero).

My front Ranchos have been great since adding a 3mm spacer to the bottom bump stop. I ordered RS999166 (9.75” compressed) but if I were you I’d order the RS999188 (9” compressed) if stock height. I ended up fitting the Monroe air shocks in the rear and am liking them so far.
