So I was under my L300 a week or so ago and came across a broken wire. I believe it has something to do with my 4wd but I'm unsure. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

4WD indicator lamp switch. Those two switches just turn on the "4WD" lamp on your dashboard.
The wires fatigue at that point and break. If you carefully grind away the switch where the wire was, you can expose the copper and solder the wire back on. I did that, and then used a blob of Permatex Grey silicone gasket maker (it sets relatively firm) to seal the join, and support the wires so they don't flex at that point.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
