Removing the mega fan hub for a electric one...?
Has anyone completely removed their fan hub to be replaced by an electric one? I'm considering doing it since the HP gain would be great!

The HP gains will almost certainly be unnoticeable...

I wonder if there would be enough airflow without the engine-driven fan. On your typical car the forward motion through the air is what keeps the radiator cool at speed, and the electric fan is mainly there to cool the engine when the car's stopped or moving slowly.
It's possible our radiators, buried under the seats as they are, have the engine driven fan because they don't receive enough airflow from forward motion alone. An electric fan might be enough to make up the shortfall, but it also might end up running all of the time which wouldn't be great for reliability.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
