L300, GASOLINE, 2.4, 4G64 needs your support

Hey,
been in Canada for while already, hope to stay for longer and to find anybody who can help me out with my beloved L300.

I own a GASOLINE 4G64 L300 4WD 2.4i and need an expert for these engines. Who can recommend any mechanic on the sunshine coast (I work in Gibsons) or nearby Vancouver North, who has knowledge about this perticular engine.

Running on any gear with 1500-2200 rpm the engine starts to struggle and gets bumpy (like a horse), not heavily but constantly. With 80km/h or any above 2500rpm everything runs super smoothly. I got no clue.
- New spark plugs , cables, oil

You got an idea? Please feel free to answer.

Furthermore I need new hydrovalves. Can anybody recommend a good part source as well online or Shop?

I'm not an expert on these engines, but I know they do all sorts of weird things when the exhaust oxygen sensor wears out.

Hey,

I would try to change the mentioned lambda sensor but I assume it won´t be the source of the issue.

Also I like to repeat my question: Does anybody know any mechanic who knows about my gasoline engine AND an online shop for Mitsu parts?

Try CCA - they likely won't stock those parts but they can get them for you.

you have a miss as low rpm now? Withe the lights off this evening start the van up and watch your plugs and plug wires. Look for sparks. This indicates a carbon trace in the wires or plugs causing a short. If there is northing spray brake clean over your intake gasket and any lines or fittings on the intake side. Listen for rpm change. This indicates a vac leak. Does the miss happen under load or dead pedal as well?

Hey folks,
Here´s what I did:

Cleaned throttle flaps, all vacuum hoses and PCV
Sprayed Brake Cleaner all over to test rpm
Reset computer, read out memory with no result
New -> Oxygen Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, Spark plug Cables, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter

Timing belt already replaced 15t km ago.

Ignition coil seems to be fine (I reckon). At night I see the sparks shooting through the (new) cables but no sparks otherwise.

Could it be the alternator?

If anybody has any idea please let me know.
