used a tiny drum sander on a drill to enlarge the holes and these LED's slide right in! I could do the same repair in about 20-30 minutes now

Got these LED eagle eye lights from Amazon and they fit perfectly in the original lens once you remove the old bulb.

You just have to solder the wires to the original connector. The wires are extremely thin from the LEDs but once soldered and shrink wrapped they're strong.

Good job Kyre it looks good... Mine actually do work I gave the lens a good clean and they are looking good and bright now.
