A Delica I'm looking at in Oregon has the gasketing pulling away from the windows. I've heard from several L300 owners that this is a common problem.

Is there a good source to buy replacement gaskets/weatherstripping? (FYI, I'm in Portland, OR if that matters).

Thanks in advance.

No help with the source of new weatherstripping, but I fitted some generic dual-sliding-window weatherstrip to an L300 a while ago. It wasn't quite the right profile and needed a bit of work to make it fit- trimming a little from here, a bit from there, cutting drain holes, and a bit of contact adhesive to make it sit right in the corners, and the windows were a little tight afterwards.

The upshot is that if I were doing it again, I would check the price of genuine Mitsubishi replacements and fit them if it's in the budget. (you've seen the part number finding guide in the FAQ, right? viewtopic.php?f=16&t=17210)

Also, I fix picture for you, simply because I had it on my desktop after replying to your post in the feedback forum. ;-)

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Give this website a shot http://www.amayama.com/en . I going to be ordering a weather seal for my sunroof through here and it's about $175 CDN including delivery for a new seal. They are pretty good for the prices so far. No diagrams to check but if you check this site http://www.megazip.net/ they should have all the diagrams for your L300. If you have any questions give me a shout and I'll try to help you out. I have used it a few times when talking to the folks at Coombs Country Auto. Good luck!!

I see there are "rear" and "QTR" windows. Are the QTR (quarter) the rearmost side windows (half slider, half fixed)?

When it comes to replacing those run channels (aka gaskets), is it just one part number per window? It looks like the run channels are two separate pieces per window, but there's only one part number for each window:

These are the part numbers:
Right QRT : MB416314
Right Middle: MB478210
Sliding Door Window: MB416313

If you entered your vehicle info correctly then that should be the correct part. If in doubt call for help

I don't doubt the accuracy of the part number. However, is the "QTR" window the rear-most side windows?

Also, are those run channels one piece or two? On our van it appears they're two. Perhaps when you buy new ones that part number actually is a two-piece unit?

And I assume these circled numbers are the run channels?

Hello!
I am trying to but new weather strips for the front door (Rubbber between the door and body) from megazip but they list two different part numbers for the left and two for the right. I'm not sure which one to buy and the price difference is around $10.
I have my proper model selected - Note EXCEED(HIGH-ROOF),4FA/T so I don't know why it is giving me two options. Anyone have any idea on which one is the right one?
