Good Day Delica Guys
I am trying to source calipers for backup/spares and I am having a difficult time. Partsouq is listing MB699358 (Left) and MB699359 (Right) for my 1996 P35W Active World. Aftermarket calipers are proving difficult to find.
I have come across some different Mitsubishi numbers for the L300. MB534322 (Left) and MB534323 (Right) which are a lot easier to cross reference for alternates. Does anyone have information regarding these two sets of Mitsubishi numbers and if could possibly go with the second set?
On a side note, is the caliper slide pin with the metal cap over it meant to be lubed. Why the cap on one but not the other. See attached picture.

Brake Caliper Questions
I "think" I have it figured out after a few hours of research on the internet. My Deli and many others use MB699358 (left) and MB699359 (right). I also found another set of OEM numbers. There may be more variants. The only real difference is that the MB699358 and MB699359 use a slightly larger piston (60 mm).
MB699358 and MB699359 - 60 mm bore - 22 mm pads - support bracket MB500786 and MB500787
MB534322 and MB534323 - 57 mm bore - 22 mm pads - support bracket MB500784 and MB500785
MB534320 and MB534321 - 57 mm bore - 22 mm pads - support bracket MB500786 and MB500787
Not sure why it is so difficult to get the aftermarket MB699358 and MB699359 calipers.
Will 3 mm affect braking performance that much?
Any thoughts on the upper slide pin cap circled in red?

Brake Caliper Questions
That's odd. For my '91 I have just one caliper listed from 1988-1999 (MB534320 (left) and MB534321 (right).) (http://mitsubishi.epc-data.com/delica_s ... 28,252741/)
I'm finding the same for your '96 Active World: http://mitsubishi.epc-data.com/delica_s ... 48,252746/ and https://partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine ... =289700&q=
Though Partsfan.com's cross reference finds MB699358 fitted to *some* models. You wouldn't happen to know your van's class? Something like "SRPT1", should be on the chassis tag below the drivers seat.
(http://partsfan.com/mitsubishi/jp/pnode ... /MB699358/)
I don't know how the extra 3 mm would affect braking. I have fitted dual-piston calipers which have slightly larger pistons than stock and it made the brake pedal a bit softer, but they also have much larger pads which improved braking performance immensely.
The cap on the slide pin is just a dust cap. Both sliding pins should be greased with brake grease. The workshop manual says "rebuild kit grease (orange)" so that's no help.
The other pin doesn't have dust cap because you need to be able to remove the bolt to change the brake pads. Remove bolt, pivot caliper up on the top sliding pin.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Thanks for the reply
Partsouq was only listing MB699358 and MB699359. The other sets of numbers I got were from searching other Deli's.
I just checked out http://mitsubishi.epc-data.com with my VIN (Full frame number) to make sure that I wasn't going crazy and it lists the same numbers as partsouq. The class is HSRXT7 which matches my data plate.

I will be buying either MB534320 or MB534322 for around $60 CAD each instead of MB699358 for $376.08 CAD each. If they were good enough for other Deli's, they will be good enough for mine.
