This wire is attached to the rear of that little black plastic plunger looking switch (I have no idea what it is). The throttle hits the black part when it is fully engaged...

Two things:
1. What is the wire, and where should it be connected to?
2. What is the device the wire is attached to?

Thanks in advance,

Isaac

It shuts off the aircon for 30 seconds or so when you need full power. It attaches to a THIN black/yellow stripe wire that emerges from the wiring loom next to the AC idle up vacuum solenoid. (There's also thicker black/yellow stripe wire in that area, it's for something else).

It vibrates a lot and breaks off, as you've noticed. When you replace the connector it's a good idea to wrap it in a bit of tape to stop it flexing at the wire crimp. The switch is unobtainable new, so don't lose it.
