I think I've read every post I could find on getting headlights for North America and e codes, but I'm still or maybe even more confused.

Is there any way to point the beam to the right? I've read that the adjusting screws won't do the trick because the lenses are made for LH traffic.
Are there replacement lenses? Do beam benders really work? I can only see about 20 feet in front of me but can see all the oncoming traffic really well. I know there are mooses ready to attack on the right side of the road but I can't see them :-D If I was in my 20s it wouldn't be a problem but my older non-flexible eyes are struggling.

I felt your pain. When I got my Delica the lights were horrible. Poor output and pointed way right.

The short answer is no. There is no way to adjust any light available to match the North American pattern. Do a quick Google search on beam patterns and you will find images that help you understand.

My ecodes were over 10 years old so I did two things. Bought new ones and then upgraded the bulbs to high outputs. Osram Nightbreaker I believe.

Made a huge difference. If you already have ecodes do the bulbs first. If your need to adjust the beam do so gingerly. When I got my old ones off I found the adjuster s were in bad shape. I did take the time to take them all apart and fix them. So that is an option for you

Good luck

I don't have Ecodes, could you point me in the right direction to find some? All my google-fu is failing me.

Unfortunately the add was mine. I got tired of them sitting in the basement and dropped them off at Rising Sun last week.

You can get these, or new ones, from Steven at Rising Sun. japancarexpress@gmail.com

If you want my old ones tell him you want the ones Tom Boyd just dropped off. If you want new ones, he will have them. Be warned, new ones are not cheap, but I thought worth the $
