like "what do you mean you don't drive a north american vehicle? Those japanese imports are too complicated for us to work on. We dont have the proper tools and equipment to work on your right hand drive van" $#&*$ dolts...my north american made wrenches and sockets all seem to fit just fine on my japvan...a mechanical diesel engine is a mechanical diesel engine no matter where its from, just like 12v car system is the same here as it is in japan, russia, mexico, australia, africa.....no "special" 12 wire needed ya dicks.........ask me how i really feel. rant done.

There is one shop that won't treat Delica's like a flaming Mo.
Adair Auto...The owner has an L300 if memory serves
My advice: Be informed and properly educated of any work being recommended on your van BEFORE you authorize it. Know what the tolerances are for things like rotors, drums, brake pads...front end parts etc. Ask if you can supply your own parts (if they don't have em or can't get em)...a shop needs to make money too and parts markup are a part of that.
If the tech says you need new ball-joints, shocks or whatever ...they should be able to demonstrate it to you and have no issue doing so...if the tech complains about 'trust' or 'doesn't have time to show you'....then you should be suspicious about the recommended work. (Thats a big red flag for me and I was a tech!)
A reputable tech will take the time to show an owner whats needs attention and what can wait.

I have had work done by pro active and i really like them. They are not the cheapest but i trust their work.
Re: l300 work in calgary?
Wow, that's 4 shops that come recommended, excellent!
I've used Pro-Active twice now and had good experiences as well.

Re: l300 work in calgary?
i should clarify something here. I am looking for a shop in calgary that can do work/fix my l300, not sell me a l300. B-pro auto imports vehicles, not fix or work on them and that is what i was informed of when i called B-pro.

My bad. Pro active is where I take all my import diesel vehicles.
