That sounds great! Sometimes I think of this thread as people watching me talk to myself but I am trying to share what I learn for the community's benefit. Is your truck coming from Japan? Do you have pictures? I usually check the auctions a few times a week (I have a problem) and I didn't see any Stradas that I remember.....Let's stay in touch and I look forward to your thread starting! Ralph in Winnipeg

I should start a thread I guess?

It is coming from japan. The number coming up for auction these days is absolutely desparate. There have only been 12 or so in the last four months. NONE in October whatsoever. But enough about mine, this is your thread. :)

Are you planning on intercooling yours? And more importantly, are you leaving the Japanese script on the sides? LOVE it!

The Japanese script stays! Truck was owned by a fire department so apparently that is what it says. I've looked at intercoolers but I think the gallium mod is my first choice. http://mitsu-l200.fr.gd/100cv-en-115cv.htm

Seems pretty simple.....if I could get an intercooler in the front somewhere I'd probably do it. My problem is the ac cooler and tranny cooler are already in front of the rad so the intercooler would have to go below some how. Don't really want a horizontal mount under the hood.

Yes start a thread - waiting for pictures! Ralph in Winnipeg

Yep, very little room for FMIC. I'm doing a top mount from a pajero.

Gallium sounds like a rare element. I'll have to dig some more...

When it warms up, I'll be getting the Strada out of mothballs for the summer. I'd be interested in having a Mitsubishi diesel get together in Winnipeg sometime this spring. You could see it in the flesh!

Spring has arrived - Subaru is parked for the summer and the Strada hits the road again! Gave the truck a once over, oil change, greased all that needs to be greased, drained some water out of the fuel filter and we're rolling.

Finally found a headache rack and boxrails for the truck. Of course it was too long, too wide and too short so after a lot of cutting and grinding and welding plus a quick paint job complete!

I also added some work lights on the back. Looking sharp!

Now I just need to install a muffler to placate the better half.....
