HELP! Badly Need Pajero Petrol Parts

Post by FredVenne »

Good morning everyone,

It seems that I am the last one that required some assistance with parts for my Pajero 3.5L GDI. I have a hard time believing that I am the only one in Canada that has this vehicle. Parts are really difficult to find. There are many sites in the UK that has parts, but too many little differences and have no idea which one to order.
There HAS to be someone else with the same model! Where do you get your brake parts; calipers, rotors, pads and hand break kit?
I know there is one in Canmore Alberta, but don't have his contact. There must be someone in BC with the same vehicle.

PLEASE, if you own a Pajero Exceed 3.5L GDI DOHC with Engine: 6G74 GDI DOHC and Chassis: E-V45W GYPC2, could you contact me?

Once again, I am stuck far up north in Newfoundland and need break parts.

Thank you all for your help,

Fred

What year is it?

Pretty sure I said the same thing in your last post. The drive train parts should be the same as the US Montero. Search at rockauto.com if you can't get them in locally. I've never had a problem finding parts for my 1993 3.5 DOHC exceed, although its not a GDI. The drive-line 'should' be the same though..

2001 Pajero is not the same as Fred's. His is a V43 chassis, which is a second gen. 2001's were all third gens, begining with V, so the LWB's are all V7X, fill in the X with the number of the engine type.

Pajerrry is trying to help Fred, and I will as well, but some basic questions are needing answers. What year? Must be a late model V4 series to have the GDI...

Rockauto can supply your parts, but if you want fast, Milner's Offroad in the UK will probably be quicker. Seriously. If I can get parts from them in 4 days or so, here in Alberta, you should get them much quicker in NFLD.

Partsouq is a great source as well, out of Dubai. Esp for hard to source stuff. Rockauto will do as well, but I'll betcha Milner's is quicker, if they have what you need in stock...
