Well I guess Vernon still holds the record for most Delica's @ a meet. I'm thinking Kamloops should be second as a Pajero is closer to a Delica than Fishtank's car. Maybe as we've said before Nov, Jan or Feb are not the best times for a meet. Should we bring radios as we did for the Kamloops tour? I've got a pair I can bring. See you @ 1:00 @ Tim's/Wendy's.

( I'd like 2 oil filters Dennis if you could bring them along. )

I'll bring my two radios as well. See you at 1pm in Westbank.

(I'd like an L300 air filter, Dennis, if you could bring it along as well) :M

Well Al, you'll be pleased to hear that I wasn't the only one there :-)
It was great meeting up with Larry and Dennis again as well as meeting Fishtank, albeit, without his Delica that day.

Here are a couple photos that I snapped just as Larry and I were about to head back down after our little 4x4 excursion above Peachland...

There was a heck of a lot more snow than this on the back of our Delica, by the time we got back down the hill.

It was nice to meet a couple of new faces ( Dennis & Fishtank) gather some more info and make a couple deals in the parking lot. That part did feel a little weird though Dennis said it was all above board and he also has more “merchandise” for those who may be interested. The road trip was a bit short but worthwhile. Nice pictures Aaron – your pictures always look better than it reality. I checked the coordinates and we should have gone about 2-3 km further on the main road before we turned. However, it was an easy place to turn around. Next meet should be late April with King Edward ( Vernon) as a starting point and we'll need to start earlier to complete or drive. Maybe this time Almac gets to pick the date!!

Hopefully the snow won't be too bad, if we decide to do the loop from King Edward Forestry road into Oyama in late April. On the plus side, there will be multiple vehicles, in case someone got stuck. :M

Thanks Falco. You're certainly welcome to head up this way, once another event has been planned.

i have been kind of frustrated about okanagan meets the last year or so.
no one can decide on a meeting place, or it seems to 'move around', i.e. kelowna>westbank.. et al.
hell, someone(will remain unnamed) refused to meet for coffee at IHOP because he didnt like the food.

if i recall dennis and i tried to get something together last year, and it ended up moving to hope or something, because people wouldn't drive here. personally, i don't know the big deal of a 5-6 hour drive to a campout. hell i drive down to the LM for a deli meet sometimes twice a year. :?

i would sure like to know christine, tardisdeli 's secret for gatherings. maybe its just "cause she's there"... lol. :-D she is after all, the delica ambassador of the LM. :-D

i will try one last time to organize something this summer.
call me dennis, we should spend a bit of time planning this one. :-)
probably some kind of okanagan BBQ/campout for a weekend. if it works, hooray. :-)
if it doesn't, i'll just spend my time working on other projects... maybe go fish'in.

BTW: nice pics aaron. :-D

I'm keen on making a trip with the Paj next interior meet you have. After all I grew up in Clearwater so might as well make the stop and use it as an excuse to visit home from Van. Keep us all posted.

Almac have you started planning the summer meet yet. We're already into late spring so summer can't be far away! Keep us posted and if you need ideas or locations I have lots of suggestions - just not lots of open weekends.

Larry
