This was in the TC this morning - totally cracked me up (but maybe too truthful!) :M

Get out of my way — I’m driving my SUV in the snow

It has been two years since we have had a decent about of snow and the first since I bought my large fourwheel-drive SUV.

Now that I have a great SUV, I will be an amazing snow driver. Never mind that the average Victorian only averages a day of snow-driving practice a year, I will be able to drive the snowy streets of Victoria at full speed.

Yes, I will be that SUV that passes you in the unplowed lane, as you barely keep control of your own car.

Trust me, I am not in a hurry, just allowing everyone to admire my superior snow-driving skills.
If you slide into another lane, don’t do it around me. I will be driving at normal speed, and will be not able to react fast enough.

Most likely I will hit you, and you will be at fault, because I have the great snow-driving SUV and you don’t!

Check both ways before going through the green light. I will be going so fast I will not be able to stop as usual and will just plow right through the red.

For pedestrians walking on the street because no one shovelled the sidewalk, don’t worry if you see me coming at full speed around the corner with my wheels spinning. I am a great snow driver!

No need to jump out of the way. I will not hit you! Someone else might, but not me!

I should clarify, my Vancouver "pleasure drives" in the snow would always be late evening - meaning 10PM or later. Definitely no fun during the day hehe

took my baby out in a parking lot to see how it handles. Funny how the snow turns you back into a kid so quickly. I had her doin' donuts and power slides in no time flat. It was frickin blast! The look on the faces of the two guys havin a smoke outside one of the businesses was priceless. I have always loved driving in the snow and now that I know the handling capabilities of my Deli y'all better watch out hear!

Because they forget that although they have more driving power (4x4) than other cars, thus better control, they do not have more braking power. So they go too fast for the conditions and end up in a ditch.

Had my deli out in the snow and love it. So surefooted. Love the 2wd in parking lots. My wife just rolls her eyes.

yep, I remember the same thing when driving trucks for a living in Ontario, 4x4 I can go fast fast fast... oops, can't stop so fast fast fast, I saw those people littering the median and ditches all along the 401.

as kb&2dogs said in his hilarious statement, most people driving non 4wd's in the snow that manage to get around will most likely be the safest drivers out there, let alone the fact that if they do slide through an intersection, they won't flatten you with their Canyonero.
