See you then! I just bought my first Delica two days ago after taking it into you for an inspection... lots to learn...

I'm going to try hard to be there.

What about a demo/discussion on installing pyro and boost gauges. I have a round Madman multi-gauge that could be used for a demo (in my Deli of course). Or just the discussion and I'll get CVI to install it later.

Attendees could bring things they want to sell, trade or give away, but not to detract from CVI's show and customer appreciation. Just a suggestion.

L400 input:

For me, I'd like to know routine maintenance points on the beast, particularly grease points on the chassis, checking play in suspension components, wheel bearings, etc.

I'd be happy to use my beast as a guinea pig 8-) I have a boost gauge installed if anyone wants to have a look...

Cheers,

Tony.

That sounds like a good question, regarding L400 maintenance. Also to supplement that, if you look into the L400 Owners Manual (1997) it covers much of that and although the manual is for second generation Space Gears ~ it's not that different. As a matter of fact it could be used to schedule L300 maintenance, as it is pretty much the same as my L300 owner's manual.

The CVI Learning Lessons and BBQ is in 2 weeks+. Wondering which out-of-towners are arriving? a) if you need an early morning pick up from Ferry for walk aboards; or to book sleeping space at the TardisDeli Motel. Let me know. Christine.

That is awesome timing for this meet...I'm actually going to be in the lower mainland that weekend!! I'll totally be there! Looking forward to meeting some other Delica owners from outside of the Okanagan. Oh, and maybe I'll get a few pointers for solving my glow plug controller sounding like morse code problem too :M

My questions this year for Butch & Edwin:

- Is it possible to install a PTO?
- How affected is a Turbo Diesel by altitude?
- Is there a wastegate/dump valve on a l400?

Christine/Jay
Troubleshooting and repair of the ECU, capacitor replacement, and glowplugs would top my list of questions for Butch.
thanks

Only 4 more sleeps till the Grand CVI Learning & BBQ !!

Out of Towners wanting to park in our Burnaby backyard overnight are welcome, and first reply with a good story gets the guest room (sorry, but your deli still has to sleep outside though). We are about 3 minutes off the Freeway at Gaglardi, easy to find. PM us for directions.

Cheers, Christine.

I'm more than a little excited to go to this meet :M

Hi RichD, I know you just wanna show off your great new folding wooden bench system for camping, you should set it up for the CVI Day as others will like your idea.

Anyone from further away than Burnaby wanting to stay here, there's still the guest room available.

Christine.
