Coaxial, it will be great to see you!
The Tomahawk has potential parking for 40 Delicas, so long as we get there before anyone else I think it would be way cool if we absolutely filled the place!
Maybe we can get you a birthday cupcake or something... smiles. This is looking really good!

I think now it is me and my little guy coming for breakfast and I would love to be counted in for the CVI info session. Hopefully we don't get too packed in at both places????

If someone has space I'll gladly accept a ride(and share cost) I can't make breakfast so just need a time to meet(I can show up at the Tomahawk to make it easier)The Pinkfingers wrote:Skidplate wrote:Hi,
I don't have directions (lots of others do though), but there are a few from North Van going (including me), so you would be welcome to get a ride from the Tomahawk, if you so desire.
Thanks,
Eric

Hey Gang
Thanks for organizing this breakfaast PF. Haven't seen many deli owners since the Macdonalds meet, except for David (delicat) at West Coast Alignment. I have new driving lights to show off, cheap, cheap at Princess Auto. Should be fun
Sorry no time for CVI.

I'm assuming the Tomahawk is the place at 1550 Philip, not far from Marine Drive at Capilano?
Never heard of it, and I was born in this town...

Re: DOUBLE Delica Day this Saturday (July 12)!!
Thanks again to both Pinkfingers & Falco for the ride offer tomorrow.
Due to lack of babysitter tomorrow AM, I was planning on bringing along my wife and four kids tomorrow -- making 6 of us (of whom 5 are old enough to eat solids)! Unfortunately, I need to take a pass on the CVI trip...
I'm wondering about the amount of room in the restaurant (I've never been to the Tomahawk, so am unfamiliar with the layout).
If space is a constraint, does anybody know if the Tomahawk would serve breakfast to go? (if weather is nice, an idea might be to "migrate" to Ambleside beach which is only a few blocks away and is likely to have sufficient parking in the early-mid morning).

Re: DOUBLE Delica Day this Saturday (July 12)!!
It's not big. I think we'll have to show up en masse and see what they can do. I'm sure they would be willing to send it to go if necessary. Seeing how big it's become, I'll try and call tomorrow around 8am to give them a heads up. Looks like we could have over 20 folks coming. This will be fun.mark wrote:Thanks again to both Pinkfingers & Falco for the ride offer tomorrow.

Re: DOUBLE Delica Day this Saturday (July 12)!!
There is lots of space at the Tomahawk ~ plus ~ they have seating outside, too! As I said earlier: Their car park can take forty vehicles; there is something like eight or nine tables; two or three two person booths and a counter that will seat twenty? Outside will be another ten to fifteen tables... I think we are covered as far as the Tomahawk goes. CVI.... standing room only.
