March 19th Meet!!! Ironwood Plaza in Richmond

Hi,

I know it hasn't been all that long since the last meet but as many people are coming out I figured I'd take the chance of scheduling another one with a change of location as there are many owners and shops in Richmond. Meet time will be at 7:30pm on Saturday March 19th. Feel free to show up early however due to my work 7:15-7:30 is most likely the earliest I will be there (I may change the time if I'm laid off of my seasonal job before then and get a new one that isn't a weekend job). Ironwood Plaza in front of Crappy Tire will be the meeting area. There are lots of places to grab a bit to eat and at that time there shouldn't be a problem finding parking spots (we can work as a group to keep a section of spaces reserved for the RHD community).

I hope to see a good turnout and some camera's clicking!

A change of location is always welcome but there's already a meet scheduled at the Tomahawk for Feb. 27... How about you come and join us instead? Next time I'd be in for a meet in Richmond.

Sorry, I've been following that event actually and didn't register the date. let me make a quick change. Think there will be enough time for a breakfast if I have to be at work on 4th and Arbutus at 11:00? I don't know the area / driving time that well.

wish i could be there for a meet and greet, my wife and i are gonna be in van beginning to mid march to pick up are l400 from mardy... would of really liked to meet everyone and see all the exciteing mods that ive been drooling over here this cold winter in saskabush... i will have to plan better for our next visit..

Site suggestion

Bumping your own thread and replying to your own post to keep it on the first page for exposure is taking advantage of this post system.

It comes up once in a while with an unaware new member and only a handful of regular members that use this feature for their own gain which is not contributing to this site.

When it does come up, it becomes quite obtrusive seeing the same advertisement everyday.

Other forums take care of this by either not allowing bumping/replying to your own post in your own thread or to have the companies that use this forum for their sales gain repeatedly to financially contribute to this site.

We don't need paid advertisers since it's common knowledge that there is only a handful of regular sellers that frequent this forum, hence why there is no reason for self bumping except to use this function to take advantage and promote a recurring sale.

Being primarily an informative site and not an advertising sales site like craigslist/kijii, can we add to rule 1.1 that bumping or replying to your own post in your own thread in the sales section of this forum is not permitted.

If you have questions about modifications you're planning to do, it might be a good idea to bring along supplies. I know I've kicked myself when trying to ask questions in the past and not having props to illustrate what I'd like help with. just an idea...
