This past Sunday - Sea to Sky - L300
Just south of Porteau Cove heading North.
I pulled into the rest stop just before Porteau Cove but I passed you before that in the White L400.

Re: This past Sunday - Sea to Sky - L300
I went up to whistler on Sunday morning and came back in the evening.
I saw 13 L300's in total and 2 L400's.

They all waved except for two that didn't see me.
I have yet to come across an L300 or L400 who's driver or passenger doesn't wave when they see me or Maryna waving.

I guess it also depends where you are. My experience is you won't get that often a wave back (anymore) in Vancouver. Once you are outside the city the chance you get one back is pretty high.
Anyway I stopped waving in the city...

Re: This past Sunday - Sea to Sky - L300
I live in squamish and 80%+ wave back, I put it to people being distracted and not seeing me as that is what happens to me at times. My kids give me heck if I miss one hehe.
I recently took my mbike for a spin and waved at a fellow I passed going to opposite way on a side street. It was like his hand was glued to the handle, first one finger then the others pulled free in a jerky motion to give a non commital floppy skake. I'm guessing he was trying to place me or mbikes don't wave anymore.

Another secret Delica (and RHD in general) hideout seems to be Quadra Island.jfarsang wrote:I went up to whistler on Sunday morning and came back in the evening.

Squamish is a secret L300 haven.
I was working over there last week, and jeez - seemed like non-stop precession on and off the ferry.
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the elementary-school-aged boys...
Re: This past Sunday - Sea to Sky - L300
I still wave at RHD's. My waves experience is consistent with motorcycling - more than half wave back.
There are more L300s than bears in Squamish.

I was at the corner of hwy 99 and clevland ave (by the McDonalds) and there were 4 Deli's at the intersection. I think there are atleast 5 deli's in my little neighbourhood here in Squampton.

You have to use ALL 5 fingers Felix !!!!fexlboi wrote:Wow, I might do something wrong. Out of the last twenty l300 I saw maybe five waved back.jfarsang wrote:They all waved except for two that didn't see me.

By the time you realize that my signature has no real message or life altering words of wisdom, you're too far into it to stop reading until you are finished
