did you see me? White L300?
I was thinking about you as I passed through Washington state on the I5 on my way through to Portland.

Seriously though, I always like travelling in the US in my delica - it's like it used to be here in Vancouver before it was inundated with them. People are always taking interest, asking questions, drooling. My wife is a foody, we are always travelling down to trader joe's in bellingham. While she shops, my kids and I sit in the back and watch movies. The trader joe's crowd is particularly interested in my van.

If it's any consolation, I am a huge fan of the Lotus Elise. You guys get them for about 1/2 of what we pay, and we can't import your Elises into Canada because Lotus won't provide the certificates that state they are the same cars we get. They are protecting the interest of the 3 dealers that sell them here.

I came up I-5 with my green L-400 gas on that day. Left Yuma and drove to Vancouver, then to Sask. Spend winters in Yuma. This year I put on over 20,000 trouble free K's. A fill in Yuma is $52.00 and was over $85.00 in Vancouver, must be the exchange on the money...

@ Graape, if that was you, nice van ya got there! :D

Anyone who is in the area is welcome to stop by my place for a few minutes, or with further notice, spend the night here! PM for address, our place is a big one with plenty of parking! I may even schedule a Meet at the Catholic church parking lot down the street sometime if there's enough interest! :D

I was going to suggest you try to plan a mini meet. With the Canadian dollar as strong as it is, I suspect you could tempt a small group down. Trader Joe's, REI, the outlet mall in burlington, etc etc. It has to be a sunday for me, my kids are in Chinese school sat mornings. Either that, or maybe over easter. A small convoy would attract a bit of attention for sure.
